HEALTHY NAMKEEN GOSHT

A rich and flavorful dish of tender mutton cooked in desi ghee with a blend of traditional spices, garnished with fresh coriander and a tangy hint of lemon.

Ingredients:

  • 600g mutton
  • 3 tbsp desi ghee
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • Coriander leaves (to taste)
  • Lemon juice (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Heat 3 tbsp desi ghee in a pressure cooker. Add the mutton and sauté until the meat turns white.
  2. Add salt, black pepper, cumin, and ginger garlic paste. Stir well and let it cook for a few minutes.
  3. Mix in the sliced onions and coriander.
  4. Pour in enough water to cover the meat, place the cooker lid on, and let it cook under pressure for 30 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, remove the lid, add lemon juice, and cook for a few more minutes.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy this savory mutton delight!
